About
This blog began as a means to document a 12 month residency undertaken by Boo Chapple at SymbioticA in 2006. Since then, she has continued to use it to document and think through projects that she is working on, to articulate random thoughts and observations about the world (Musings), her life (My Funny Life), and to occasionally vent her spleen (Rants). The blog serves as a place where people can see and comment on what Boo has been doing in, what are sometimes, the long spaces between public outcomes in her research based art practice. It also serves as point of linkage between personal research and the bigger collaborative projects that she is often involved in. For example, the Biospatial Workshop at RMIT University from 2007-08 – see the Contaminated Life and Cultivating Life blogs – and a participatory performance work with Adele Varcoe called Hand to Mouth.
